AI Fire acquires Vermont-based FireProTec expanding New England Presence
August 30, 2018AI Fire is excited to announce its self-perform expansion into Vermont via its acquisition of FireProTec. Headquartered in Burlington, VT, FireProTec primarily offers clean agent, kitchen suppression, and fire extinguisher servicing, for customers across various end markets including schools, hospitals, and industrials. Founded in 1962 by Robert and Kathi Gauthier by providing expert fire prevention advice and servicing, the company has expanded from Vermont into New Hampshire and Northern New York.
Robert Gauthier, FireProTec’s founder noted, “through this acquisition FireProTec joins a trusted network of skilled fire protection professionals located across the United States with an equally dedicated commitment to serving the needs of the communities we serve.” While Robert will remain involved lending his expertise in Fire Suppression, Todd Buffum will be joining FireProTec as its General Manager. Todd has over 30 years of experience in the fire and life safety industry here in Vermont and throughout New England.
The FireProTec operation will work closely with Tri State Fire Protection based in Hudson New Hampshire, which AI Fire acquired in March of 2018. Both companies operate as divisions of Impact Fire, AI Fire’s self-perform operation. Over time, we look forward to expanding FireProTec’s service offering, leveraging the combined expertise of the two companies.
